Wokingham ecommerce firm to offer GDPR training on Thursday

AN ECOMMERCE firm that helps companies get to grips with online retail opportunities is to host a training session on new data protection laws.

From May 25, firms will have to be compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) laws, which are aimed at empowering consumers to be in charge of how their personal data is used by firm.

Tabaq, which has offices in Fishponds Road, off Molly Millars Lane, is to hold the session on Thursday, March 8 from 6pm.

It is aimed at online retailers or those thinking about setting up as an e-merchant.

Speakers will include David Kennedy, Commercial Director at Zsah, Managed Technology Services and Amanda Hancox, a Shopify store owner.

Sultan Noori, the CEO at Tabaq Technologies will also share insights.

It takes place at UTC Reading, Crescent Road, which is close to Wokingham Road.

Places are free, but should be booked in advance.

For details, log on to www.tabaq.com or call 0118 402 8938.
